Marissa Landrigan is the author of The Vegetarian's Guide to Eating Meat, and her essays have appeared in numerous journals including The Rumpus, Orion, Creative Nonfiction, The Atlantic, and Diagram, among others. She is an Associate Professor of Writing at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, and she will talk to you about bats or jellyfish or octopuses for as long as you'll listen. She lives in Pittsburgh with her family.
