Sarah Shotland is the author of the novel Junkette and the non-fiction project Abolition is Everything. Her shorter work has been published in The Iowa Review, Creative Nonfiction, Baltimore Review, and elsewhere. She is the director of creative writing at Carlow University, and program director of Madwomen in the Attic which has celebrated and served women writers since 1979.
